Each CVE is classified by the linear slope of its scores over the analysis window. "Both Stable" dominates because EPSS is slow-moving. Only a small fraction of CVEs change meaningfully over 5 days.
Slope scatter: each point is one CVE. Upper-left (V5 rising, V4 flat) and lower-right (V4 rising, V5 flat) show the most analytically interesting divergences. Note: slope is linear regression over the window. A single jump on day 1 or 5 produces the same slope as a sustained rise.
